What if the most beautiful goal of the year wasn’t scored inside a football field? In 2018, we created a movement to pressure FIFA to give the award of goal of the year – the Puskas Award – to a player most people had never heard about: Lulo Benitez. Why? Because Lulo gave up his career to donate his liver and save his nephew’s life. And no player could score a more beautiful goal than saving a kid’s life. Lulo's story spread and not only inspired people to talk about organ donation, but also brought Brazilians and Argentinians to the same side for the first time when it comes to football.
